Tanzania: Volt Resources Updates on Licence Status and Project Progress

Volt Resources has issued an important update clarifying its position on recent reports about the potential cancellation of its gold exploration licences in Guinea. Volt Resources Ltd states that it has not received any formal notification or official communication from the Guinean government regarding licence cancellations. Volt is actively engaging with the relevant authorities to address and resolve any uncertainties surrounding its licence holdings.

Meanwhile, Volt continues to advance its Bunyu Graphite Project located in Tanzania. The project benefits from excellent infrastructure, including access to sealed roads and proximity to a deep-water port, helping to facilitate project development and future operations. The Bunyu Project has completed a comprehensive Feasibility Study, supplemented by a recent update, which supports a Stage 1 production capacity target of 400,000 tonnes of processed graphite material annually. This positions Bunyu as a significant graphite resource in the region.

In addition to graphite and gold, Volt is enhancing its presence in the critical minerals space through two licence applications in Serbia. These applications cover areas near Belgrade that show prospective lithium-borate mineralisation. This diversification into lithium-borate exploration signals Volt’s strategic intent to broaden its resource base, responding to growing demand for battery and technology metals.

Overall, Volt Resources is maintaining operational continuity while pursuing infrastructure-backed project development and expanding its exploration footprint into new mineral types, highlighting a balanced approach to growth and risk management.
