Tri-Pump and Sykes sign sole exclusive distributors agreement.

Tri-Pump recently announced that it would be the sole distributor of the international brand Sykes Pumps in Zambia, Tanzania, South Africa, and DRC.

This follows the signing of a sole exclusive distributor agreement, meaning Tri-Pump will be the official provider of Sykes diesel or electric units. The agreement also includes the sole provision of spares and after-sale services.

Tri-Pump supplies global pump brands and offers solutions – including support, training and servicing – to the African mining, agriculture and construction industries with a footprint in Zambia, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Tri-Pump chairman, Mr. Hennie Vermeulen, stated that the agreement with Sykes Pumps would complement its product range offering its clients across the continent more choices.

“Our partnership with Sykes Pumps augments our product range. As a rule of thumb, we only partner with premium brands that share our standard of service delivery,” said Vermeulen.

“We have established a reputation of solely supplying and distributing premium brands, ensuring our clients receive quality products and services they deserve.”

Vermeulen said although Tri-Trump has an established presence on the rest of the continent, the partnership would further broaden its footprint in South Africa.

Sykes has established a reputation for designing some of the toughest dewatering pumps in the world that can withstand some of the harshest conditions. From urban worksites to flood water control, our wide range of robust, reliable dewatering pumps provide efficient water management solutions.
