Namibia: Namibia fuel price to decrease starting May 2022.

The Ministry of Mines and Energy has decided to reduce the price of petrol by N$1.20 and diesel by 30c. The decision follows consultations with a number of stakeholders to give temporary relief to consumers for the next three months by reducing the amount of levies collected from fuel, the MVA, RFA, NAMCOR and tax on fuel price by 50% while MVA levies will be reduced by 25 %. The new price is effective from Wednesday.
