Zambia: KCM management engages employees on current business status.

Konkola Copper Mines (KCM’s) management has dedicated some time to deliver the company’s business update to employees in all its Business Units, in a quest to keep them abreast with precise information about the current status of the company and the steps that need to be taken going forward.

KCM Acting CEO Enock Mponda during his face-to-face meetings with employees from KCM and its subsidiary companies (Konkola Mineral Resources Limited and KCM Smelter Co Limited), implored them to work hard and increase copper production to keep the mining giant afloat. Mr. Mponda assured that the government, management and other stakeholders are working very hard to find solutions to issues surrounding the mine, which still has a bright future.
