Zambia: The 2020 Copperbelt Agricultural Mining Industrial Networking Expo –CAMINEX- has been postponed.

Confirming the development to SADC Mining & Construction News, agricultural & commercial show society chairman, London Mwafulilwa said the postponement is in line with the directive from the minister of agriculture with regards to holding agricultural shows and government’s guidelines on the covid-19 pandemic.

He says the CAMINEX 2020 which was scheduled to be held from 2nd to 4th June 2020 will now be held from 1st to 3rd June 2021.

Mr. Mwafulilwa explains that CAMINEX is an important event for the Copperbelt and brings together a number of local, regional and foreign exhibitors and visitors and in light of the Covid–19 pandemic which has affected the globe, the postponement has been done in the interest and safety of its partners.

He adds that the show society will hold and honor all payments already made for 2020 in 2021 without any price adjustments.
